Hey Sister Lift Inc!
There is beauty in death...let me explain:
These flowers were beautiful when I first arranged them. In their current state, the petals and leaves are withering and changing color. I can see remnants of their former beauty and they still give a fragrance, but less so. But they are literally dying.
Let's say these roses represent an area, relationship, or opportunity of your life. In the newness of it all, it was spectacular! Literally in full bloom. As time went on, there was a little less luster, fullness, and fragrance but the flowers were still there. In your recognition of the change, you neglected to change the water, prune the dry petals and leaves, or place the flowers near light so life can continue to shine on them for the duration of their life cycle. You may even be upset that the flowers are dying.
Perhaps you forgot that EVERYTHING on God's Earth has a life span. Life and death are natural cycles that ALL living things must submit to. In your feelings, you forgot all about THAT WHICH REMAINS! The foliage in the arrangement is STILL vibrant and lively in the midst of death. You see...there is still BEAUTY in the midst of the dying.
Sometimes our focus is so on what we determine to be the 'beautiful thing' that we neglect what is yet alive! We must remember that God told us that there will always be seasons, seed time, harvest, death, and life. So for that business, relationship, area of your life that is changing or dying, remember what still lives! Foster it, nurture it, change the water, make sure it's near the LIGHT, feed it, and perhaps gather NEW beautiful things to give it a healthy community.
Focus on what LIVES! That which remains is worth saving. Let THAT follow its natural course of life, but DON'T stop LIVING in the beauty of what remains. What died now has a new purpose: feeding the future.
Be Blessed Sis 🙏🏿❣️👑
