Something good is happening in Sister Lift, and it is happening one prayer, one gathering, one act of kindness, and one sister-to-sister conversation at a time.
This season has been full of movement. We are praying together every Tuesday morning. We are preparing for the Sister Talk Live Luncheon on August 22. We just completed our back-to-school drive and were able to help 15 children start the school year with support. We are already looking ahead to our end-of-the-year gift swap and luncheon, along with more chances to connect, encourage, and grow together.
Sister Lift is about showing up. Sometimes that means joining a prayer call before the day gets busy. Sometimes it means helping a child walk into school with what they need. Sometimes it means sitting across the table from another woman and realizing you are not alone.
Here is what is going on, what is coming next, and how to stay connected.

Tuesday prayer and God Talk continue at 6:30 a.m.
Every Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., Sister Lift gathers for prayer and God Talk.
That early morning time has become a steady place to pause, breathe, and set the tone for the day. Before the errands, phone calls, work responsibilities, family needs, and long to-do lists begin, we come together to pray, reflect, and encourage one another.
The beauty of Tuesday morning prayer is its simplicity. You do not have to have the perfect words. You do not have to know exactly what to say. You do not have to carry everything alone.
You can simply show up.
Prayer and God Talk give space for:
Spiritual encouragement
Shared faith and reflection
Honest conversation
A peaceful start to the day
Support through difficult seasons
Gratitude for what God is doing
Some weeks, the focus may be strength. Other weeks, it may be patience, healing, peace, family, direction, or thanksgiving. Each time, the goal is the same, to lift one another and keep God at the center.
For anyone who has been wanting to reconnect spiritually or find a consistent faith-based community rhythm, Tuesday mornings are a meaningful place to begin.
There is something powerful about knowing that while many people are just waking up, a group of sisters is already praying, believing, and speaking life.
Sister Talk Live Luncheon is coming on August 22
The Sister Talk Live Luncheon is coming up on August 22, and it is one of the upcoming moments we are especially excited about.
This luncheon is more than a meal. It is a space to gather, talk, listen, laugh, and be reminded of the strength found in sisterhood. When women come together with open hearts and shared purpose, something shifts. Conversations become encouragement. Stories become connection. A simple lunch becomes a memory.
Sister Talk Live creates room for real topics and real community. It gives women a chance to step out of routine and into a space where they can feel seen, heard, and welcomed.
The luncheon will be a time to:
Connect with other women
Share encouragement
Enjoy fellowship
Celebrate what Sister Lift is doing
Build stronger relationships
Leave refreshed and uplifted
The name says it well. Sister Talk is about honest conversation, the kind that reminds us we are stronger together. Live means we are gathering in real time, with real presence, real stories, and real support.
Whether someone has been connected to Sister Lift for a while or is just learning about the community, this luncheon is a beautiful opportunity to be part of what is growing.

The back-to-school drive helped 15 children
One of the biggest blessings from this season is the completion of our back-to-school drive. Through generosity, planning, and care, Sister Lift was able to help 15 children get ready for school.
That number matters because each child represents a family, a classroom, a morning routine, and a fresh start.
Back-to-school season can be exciting, but it can also be heavy for families. Supplies, clothes, shoes, backpacks, lunch items, transportation, and schedules can add up quickly. For some households, even basic school needs can create pressure.
Being able to help 15 children was a practical expression of love.
It said:
You matter.
Your education matters.
Your family is not forgotten.
Your community sees you.
A back-to-school drive may seem like a simple project, but the impact reaches further than the items collected. A child who has what they need can walk into class with more confidence. A parent or caregiver can feel a little relief. A teacher may see a student better prepared for the day. A community becomes stronger when children are supported.
This is the heart of Sister Lift. We do not only talk about care. We turn care into action.
To everyone who donated, helped organize, spread the word, packed supplies, prayed over the effort, or supported in any way, thank you. Your kindness became a blessing for 15 children.
Small acts of service become large reminders of love when they are done together.
Why community support matters beyond one event
The back-to-school drive is finished, but the need for community support continues. One event can meet an immediate need, but ongoing care builds trust.
Families remember who showed up. Children remember feeling supported. Communities grow stronger when help is not treated as a one-time activity, but as part of a larger commitment to love people well.
That is why Sister Lift continues to create ways for people to gather, pray, give, and connect. Each piece matters.
Prayer helps strengthen the spirit.
Luncheons help strengthen relationships.
Drives and outreach help meet everyday needs.
Private group conversations help people stay encouraged between events.
Together, these efforts create a pattern of care. Sister Lift Updates are not just about dates on a calendar. They are about what those dates make possible in real lives.
There is also something powerful about consistency. When people know there is a prayer time every Tuesday, they know there is a place to bring their concerns. When people know there are gatherings coming up, they know there will be another chance to connect. When people see service projects completed, they know the community is active and caring.
Consistency builds belonging.

We are preparing for the end-of-the-year gift swap and luncheon
Even as we celebrate what has already happened, preparations are underway for the end-of-the-year gift swap and luncheon.
The end of the year often brings mixed emotions. There can be joy, gratitude, tiredness, reflection, and hope all at once. It is a natural time to look back on what has been learned, what has been survived, what has been celebrated, and what God has carried us through.
A gift swap adds a sweet and joyful touch to that season. It gives everyone a chance to participate in giving and receiving. The gift itself does not have to be extravagant to be meaningful. Often, the joy is in the thought, the laughter, the surprise, and the shared moment.
The luncheon will give us time to gather before the year closes. It will be a chance to reflect on the blessings of the year, reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new ones, and celebrate the sisterhood that continues to grow.
As plans continue, details will be shared through Sister Lift’s communication channels, including Facebook and the private Facebook group.
For now, save room in your heart and calendar for a warm end-of-year gathering. It will be a time to celebrate community, gratitude, faith, and friendship.
There is more ahead for Sister Lift
The events already mentioned are just part of what is happening. Sister Lift continues to grow through prayer, service, fellowship, and shared purpose.
There is always more to come because community is never finished. There will be more conversations, more gatherings, more outreach, more encouragement, and more ways to lift one another.
That is what makes Sister Lift special. It is not built around one event. It is built around a rhythm of care.
Some people connect through prayer. Some connect through luncheons. Some feel called to help with drives and outreach. Some find comfort in the private group and the daily reminders that they are part of something meaningful.
Every part has value.
If you are wondering where to begin, start with what feels simple:
Join Tuesday prayer and God Talk at 6:30 a.m.
Attend the Sister Talk Live Luncheon on August 22.
Look for updates about the end-of-the-year gift swap and luncheon.
Invite someone who could use encouragement.
Follow Sister Lift on Facebook.
Join the private Facebook group to stay connected.
You do not have to do everything at once. Just take the next step.
Follow Sister Lift on Facebook and join the private group
The best way to keep up with announcements, reminders, encouragement, and upcoming plans is to follow Sister Lift on Facebook and join the private Facebook group.
The public page helps share updates more broadly. The private group gives members a closer place to connect, receive reminders, and stay part of the ongoing conversation.
That is especially helpful as new details are shared for the Sister Talk Live Luncheon, Tuesday prayer and God Talk, the end-of-the-year gift swap, and other future gatherings.
Life gets busy. It is easy to miss dates or forget what is coming up. Staying connected online helps make sure important updates do not get lost in the week.
The private group also gives the community a place to keep lifting one another between in-person moments. Encouragement does not have to wait until the next luncheon. Prayer does not have to wait until the next event. Sisterhood can continue throughout the week.

A season of prayer, service, and sisterhood
This season has already shown what can happen when women gather with faith and purpose.
We have seen prayer continue every Tuesday morning at 6:30 a.m. We are looking forward to the Sister Talk Live Luncheon on August 22. We are grateful that the back-to-school drive helped 15 children. We are preparing with joy for the end-of-the-year gift swap and luncheon. And yes, there is still so much more ahead.
Sister Lift continues to be a place where faith is shared, support is practical, and connection is real.
If you have been watching from a distance, this is a good time to come closer. Follow Sister Lift on Facebook, join the private Facebook group, and stay tuned for what is next.
The door is open, the prayers are continuing, and the sisterhood is growing.
